I have not gotten to the point of using the 311S base I purchased yet, but it's in plans for a sculptural table I will be working on soon. I love the base. I will be modifying a bit - welding a cylinder atop the mounting plate that will core into a 8" thick live edge salvaged piece for extra security. The base is perfect for my need.

A lovely designed base!
I love my table base. I just had the quartz top that matches my countertops finally placed on top. It’s a show stopper. It arrived well wrapped. A box within another box, Saran wrapped (many layers)and still a bottom edge was damaged. (See photo 3) Certainly not due to Flowyline. It’s basically due to the shipping company. I must say that it travelled from California all the way to Eastern Canada. Who knows how it was handled and thrown all over the place. I will just touch it up with some black mat rustproof paint. Not sure what process is used to apply the paint but it would have been nice if it was baked on. My previous table nothing would have chipped that paint. Something for the company to consider. Overall, it’s truly gorgeous!
