    Base arrived quickly and appears to be in good shape, although it's still in the shipping crate. A table top has been ordered, so don't know yet how the base will work out. It appears well constructed and finished. There are almost 40 slotted holes in the base for fastening to the top, but upon inquiry about how many should be used, the advice given was to just use as many as I think I need. That was way less than helpful, and a second inquiry went unanswered. Luckily, the top maker has suggestions based on experience.

    The base is beautiful and high quality. I will reorder from you in the future. I do want to share some customer service frustrations: 1. I received an email with a UPS tracking number saying the piece shipped. The tracking number didn't register on the UPS site. Several days later I received an email with a R&L shipper BOL I expected that this would ship by LTL not UPS. I contacted customer service and they said the first UPS shipping email was caused by a "system error." I'm a former IT professional - I don't buy this. 2. On Oct 22 I received an "We would like to know how you feel" email asking me to rate the base. The base didn't ship until Oct 27. Why are you asking for feedback when it is clear I hadn't received the base yet.

    Beautiful base design and quality! No photos to post yet because we are waiting for the top to be fabricated but the base design is: 1). Beautifully designed in terms of scale and lines. 2). Extremely well fabricated and finished. This table base is SOLID. 3). Well thought out support structure with ample pre-drilled screw slots to accommodate any variety of table top material. 4). Customer service was above and beyond PROMPT, COURTEOUS, AMD FULLY KNOWLEDGEABLE in regards to all dimension and structural questions about the base. Thank you to everyone at Flowyline!     So the table base actually ended up not working for my custom sized table.BUT, this shop was *stellar* to work with start to finish.Honestly, even with shops with full 5 star reviews, I always worry about what if I’m the one with something that doesn’t work out?Well, I was.And they were awesome.From the start, they communicated immediately and often, kept me updated on status&shipping, and when I received the item and noted that it actually did not work, they rapidly tried to see if it could be fixed & then offered a refund within hours of deciding it could not (after giving an option of a replacement, which I didn’t have time for).The product itself is very well made and every bit as stunning as it looks online.I 100% plan on using flowyline for my new table in the house we just bought.I Fully recommend - you cannot go wrong!
